Our Northern Belle has the smallest waist in Northern Ireland (FACT). She also has a big heart and a love for all things glamorous. “Big hair, skinny waist, angry protestant” is exactly how Bunny describes herself but of course she is more than meets the eye! Bunny has been around for quite some time and is a favourite amongst regulars and new customers alike due to her love of performing ballads as well as show tune hits.

Bunny is famed for talents on a mic due to the comedic effect she delivers as well as her perfectly timed one-liners. She is well established on the LGBT scene but is also a seasoned performer amongst the burlesque and cabaret circuit in Ireland. Bunny can be seen in all her glory every Monday night here at the George as she co-hosts Win, Lose or Drag with Phil T Gorgeous.

Davina Devine is Dublin’s hottest and original blonde bombshell and infamous party girl. She is a good-time girl and knows how to have a good party! She is young, current and in the now! Davina loves working and playing with different looks and trends, A she-j-DJ, model and glamorous hostess all rolled into one Double D sized package!

Davina’s Thirsty Thursday happens here every single week, it is a fun-filled pop, featuring random party games, lots of surprise guests and some great prizes. She has featured in various wig and advertising campaigns in Ireland & the U.K. and also Appeared on many TV shows including morning tv slots and importantly welcomed the YES Vote into Ireland Live on Tv at “The Vincent Browne – Referendum Results Show” produced by tv3 about The Same-Sex Marriage Referendum that made international news globally.

Drag Queen, Bar Maid, Hostess, Confidante and All-Round Grumpy Old Bint, our Dolly has been around for quiet *cough* some time. Due to her many, many years of doing drag she is well known and established on the LGBT+ scene.

Dolly was the resident drag queen of the late Dragon Bar, she has since been rehomed here at The George (while she waits for her pension to go through) and is now our Tuesday hostess with the Dolly Grip Experience. Love a show tune? So does our Dolly, she knows more about musicals and Broadway then, well, most gays! She is our yearly Eurovision hostess with the mostest ! You can find her every week on Tuesday, sometimes Thursday and Sunday (when the dementia kicks in she tends to mix up her days bless her)

Mother, may I play with danger? Phil T comes with a warning ladies, it reads “dangerously Gorgeous!”

Drag king, gender illusionist, male impersonator, weirdo…. call him what you want but there’s no doubt that whatever he is, Phil T. Gorgeous is ALL man……. well….. Mostly. He first swaggered across the stage in early 2004 introducing unsuspecting audiences to his own brand of drag performance and whether entertaining in the intimate surroundings of a cozy cafe, or hosting to tens of thousands at Pride events, Phil has been happily raising eyebrows both nationally and internationally ever since.

Phil has been parading his own brand of gender bending hornfusion on the George’s stage since winning the first-ever Davina’s Apprentice in 2011. Since then he has been a regular miscreant addition to Davina’s thirsty Thursdays as well as hosting his own show on Monday nights with Bunny, Win Lose or Drag.

International Cabaret Artiste Extraordinaire TM and former child-star Shirley Temple Bar is a national treasure. And like many of our greatest national treasures, she was originally found in a ditch before she was scrubbed up and put on proud display. Her first public showing was as a contestant at the Alternative Miss Ireland in 1997. She stole the show and the crown (and a couple of handbags) before setting off on the road to stardom. Shortly after her win, Shirley established her Sunday night Bingo in The George and over one thousand shows later she’s still calling the balls. Bingo with Shirley Temple Bar is the original, longest-running and best-known show on the Irish gay scene.

Initial success provoked massive media attention – tonnes of column inches, radio interviews, TV appearances and two TV documentaries devoted to Shirley and her show! Shirley also moonlighted as a TV presenter for the National Lottery game show Telly Bingo on RTE1 for four years. Despite the lure of fame and fortune, Shirley kept up her Sunday show in The George. It’s her spiritual home and childhood playground. In fact, in all these years, she has rarely missed a Sunday night performance!

For over two decades now, Veda has been a reigning queen of Dublin’s gay nightlife, performing Wednesdays, Saturdays and most Sundays. Since winning the title of ‘Alternative Miss Ireland’ back in 1999, Veda’s weekly show Space’N’Veda has become a staple of Dublin’s queer nightlife, attracting a devoted fan following and a trendy crowd of Dubliners and tourists alike.

Since her early days in drag, Veda’s unique style and edgy performances have had audience raving, and kept them coming back for more. Combining fierce cabaret with innovative performance art, Veda’s show has constantly pushed the boundaries of conventional drag to its limits, showcasing Veda’s unique performance style, all the while connecting to the music, as well as the audience. Veda continues to combine masterful drag renditions of well-known pop and rock classics with her own original music.
